Grithadhara For 2025 is on NOV 07,08,& 09 (Thulam21,22 & 23)
A special offering namely “Grithadhara” ie pure Cow ghee abishekam is performed during the month of Thulam on Thiruvathira nal, ie in the month of October-November every year. It is believed that this great Grithadhara abishekam is done only in this Temple.
Consuming this Grithadhara abishek ghee Prasadam brings total relief for any disease. Lord Vaidyanatha cures not only the physical pains of the devotees but also cures them from the recurring diseases of births and deaths. He fulfills every wish of the devotees such as jobs, marriage, birth of child, mental peace, relief from planetary problems etc.

Another special offering is “Samooha Maha Mruthyunjaya Homam” on Mahasivarathri day every year
Samooha Maha Mrithyunjaya Homam is performed for rectifying Ayur dosham, Curing diseases,”aabhichara batha” sufferings etc. For this Homam 7 spaciors items” Amrithu, Peraal, Ellu, Karuka, Cow Milk, Cow Ghee, Palpayasam are used while chanting “Manthras” 1008 times. Performed for Deerghayussu Ayur Arogya Soukhyam.
